The Cabinet has strongly condemned the slaying of a youth in Male’ on Monday night. In today’s meeting of the Cabinet, Members spoke of the incident and discussed, at length, the immediate measures that needed to be put in place to make sure such incidents did not happen in the future.
The Cabinet also discussed the National Health Insurance Scheme, “Madhana”. Today, Members scheduled a briefing on the current status of the Scheme for the next Cabinet meeting. They also decided that they would take the necessary actions to make the Scheme more efficient after the briefing.
