President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has attended the opening ceremony of 24 hour non-stop Table Tennis event organized by the International Table Tennis Federation to celebrate “World Table Tennis Day”. The ceremony was held Wednesday evening at Rasfannu.
Speaking at the ceremony, World Table Tennis Championship title holder Jiang Jialiang encouraged the people to participate in the 24 hour non-stop Table Tennis event.
Along with the President, First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim, Minister of Youth and Sports Hon. Ahmed Zuhoor and members of Table Tennis Association of Maldives participated in the ceremony.
