The new Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Maldives, His Excellency Mr. Milan Hovorka has presented his credentials to President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, on Wednesday morning.
At the ceremony held at the President’s Office to present the credentials, President Yameen congratulated Ambassador Milan Hovorka on the commencement of his term.
The President expressed his hope and confidence that the relations between the Maldives and Czech Republic will continue to strengthen in the future.
The Ambassador expressed interest in exploring opportunities for greater cooperation between the two countries to bolster the current administration’s drive for continued Economic growth.
The President was accompanied at the meeting by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Ms. Dunya Maumoon and the Under Secretary at the President’s Office, Mr. Mohamed Naseer.
