First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim has awarded the letter of employment to those qualified under the programme initiated by the Sadaqaat Fund, to facilitate job opportunities to people with disabilities. The programme was carried out in collaboration with the Aasandha Company and National Social Protection Agency.
Ten individuals were handed their letters of employment at today’s ceremony. The special programme was carried out to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
At the ceremony held in Muleeaage this morning, the First Lady noted that those who got selected for employment under the programme were properly interviewed and fully qualified to take on their respective jobs.
Today’s ceremony was attended by Chief Executive Officer of National Social Protection Agency, Mr. Mujuthaba Jaleel and the Managing Director of Aasandha Company, Mr. Maumoon Abdul Samad.
