President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has extended greetings to Maldivian citizens, Hajj pilgrims , Leaders of Islamic countries and to the Heads of Islamic organizations on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul-Al’haa.
In his message, the President noted that Eid ul-Al’haa was an occasion to reinforce unity and harmony among the Muslim community, by working together with each other and showing compassion to one another.
Emphasizing that Hajj pilgrimage encourages the establishment of harmonious familial and brotherly relations amongst us, President Yameen also advised the Maldivian citizens to obtain the moral wisdom of this holy occasion of Eid ul-Al’haa.
