Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor has today met with Deputy Prime Minister of Malta and Minister of European Affairs and Implementation of the Electoral Manifesto, Louis Grech.
At today’s meeting, the Vice President and the Deputy Prime Minister of Malta expressed hopes to enhance bilateral ties between the Maldives and Malta. Discussions were also held on ways to develope economic relations between the two countries.
Vice President Adheeb described Malta as a model country for investments, and briefed the Deputy Prime Minister of Malta on the tourism industry of Maldives. He also noted the reform measures being taken towards economic diversification in the Maldives.
At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Louis Grech assured the Vice President of Malta’s support and assistance to the Maldives.
