The new Ambassador of Hungary to the Maldives, H.E. Szilveszter Bus has presented his credentials to President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, on Wednesday morning.
At the ceremony held at the President’s Office to present the credentials, President Yameen congratulated Ambassador Bus on the commencement of his term. Meeting the new Ambassador afterwards, the President and the Ambassador discussed bilateral relations that exist between the two countries and ways to further strengthen ties.
The Ambassador of Hungary assured the President of his commitment to strengthening the existing bilateral bonds between the two countries. He discussed with the President, areas in which Hungary could extend assistance to the Maldives in the future.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador-at-Large H.E. Abdulla Hameed.
