President Yameen Ratifies the First ‎Amendment Bill to the “Clemency Act ‎” and the ‎‎First ‎Amendment Bill to the “Human Rights Commission Act”

President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has today ratified the First ‎Amendment Bill to the “Clemency Act ‎” [Law no: 2/2010], and the ‎‎First ‎Amendment Bill to the “Human Rights Commission Act” [Law no: 6/2006].‎

The Amendment was passed by the Parliament at the 24th ‎sitting of its ‎seventeenth session, on 24 November 2014. Following ratification, the ‎bill ‎has been published in the Government Gazette.‎
