First Lady, Madam Fathimath Ibrahim has met with First Lady of China, Madam Peng Liyuan.
At the meeting held at Mulee-aage on Sunday afternoon, discussions were focused on issues related to social development of both the countries. In this regard, First Lady Madam Fathimath Ibrahim and Madam Peng Liyuan exchanged views on improving the rights of children with special needs and on the empowerment of women.
The call was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Fathimath Inaya and the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Health, Ms. Fathimath Samiya.
