President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has officially inaugurated the harbor project of Dhan’gethi Island, South Ari Atoll. The ceremony was held on Sunday evening. First Lady Madam Fathimath Ibrahim also took part in the inauguration.
The project is undertaken by the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure, with Maldives Transport and Contracting Company as the contractor.
Also in attendance at the ceremony were, Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, Dr. Mohamed Muiz, Minister of Tourism, Hon. Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Ghafoor, and Managing Director of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company, Mr. Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem.
