Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has this morning visited the Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital in Thinadhoo of South Huvadhu Atoll. The Vice President made this visit as part of his current tour of some islands in the North and South Huvadhu Atoll.
During his visit, the Vice President met with the senior officials at the hospital, and was briefed on the challenges being faced by the hospital. Discussions were also held on the measures that could be undertaken to further improve the public hospital.
Following his visit to Thinadhoo, the Vice President visited the island of Fares Maathodaa as the next part of his tour of the atoll. During his visit to the island, Vice President Jameel met with the senior officials and teachers at the Fares Maathodaa School.
