President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has today met with the President of India, His Excellency Pranab Mukherjee.
At the meeting held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, discussions were focused on strengthening the existing close relations between the Maldives and India.
President Mukherjee expressed his gratitude to President Yameen for making this visit to India, to attend the momentous occasion of the inauguration of the New Prime Minister.
