High Commissioner of Sri Lanka accredited to the Maldives, W. W. M. R. Dickson Sarathchandra Dela has today paid his farewell call on President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
At the meeting held at the President’s Office this morning, the President expressed his appreciation for High Commissioner Dela’s contribution in strengthening relations between the Maldives and Sri Lanka.
Noting that the two countries have been able to strengthen bilateral relations during his tenure, High Commissioner Dela said that it had been a pleasure to serve the Maldives.
