Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has officially inaugurated the sewerage project for Hanimaadhoo Island of South Thiladhummathi Atoll.
Speaking at the ceremony held this evening, the Vice President highlighted the priority given by the Government to establish proper sewerage systems in the islands. In this regard, the Vice President said that sewerage projects were in the plans for additional islands, and that this year alone would see 20 such projects being launched.
