Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed has today met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait, Mr. Marzoug Al-Ghanim.
At the meeting, Vice President Jameel and Speaker Marzoug discussed bilateral relations that exist between the two countries. They further explored possibilities of strengthening these ties, especially between the legislative bodies of the two Governments.
The Speaker thanked the people and the Government of Maldives for the continuous support to Kuwait, especially during times of distress. He also conveyed his congratulations to President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom on assumption of office.
