Ambassador of the United States to the Maldives Michele J. Sison has paid a courtesy call on President Dr Mohamed Waheed. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
At the meeting, discussions were held on the current political situation of the country. The President assured the Ambassador that the government would put in every effort to maintain peace and stability in the country.
Ambassador Sison noted that all political leaders must encourage national harmony, and make it their foremost priority.
