President Dr Mohamed Waheed has announced that the survey and fieldwork of the second phase of the Hulhumale’ reclamation project would commence shortly. He made this statement while speaking at a ceremony held last evening to hand over 1000 housing flats at Hulhumale’ built under the Veshifahi Male’ program.
Highlighting that the second phase of the project would double the current land area of Hulhumale’, President Waheed expressed confidence that it would provide opportunities for housing provision for a large number of people.
Continuing in regard, President Waheed said that the project would contribute to the future developments of Hulhumale’ as part of Male’ City. He further emphasised that the project would be undertaken smoothly without any disruptions.
Underlining the newly handed over flats would house a large number of inhabitants, President assured that the government would work towards providing additional services needed by the inhabitants.
