President Dr Mohamed Waheed has said that a Presidential Scholarship will be awarded to A’ Level top achievers who wish to pursue their higher education from the Maldives National University. He made the announcement while speaking at the function to give Top Achievers Awards of O’ Level Exam.
In his speech at last night’s function, President Waheed highlighted the achievements made over the years in the area of education. He noted that as a result of progress made in the O’ Level exams in 2012, 14 schools in the islands will begin A’ Level Education in June this year.
