As part of his ongoing visit to South Korea, President Mohamed Nasheed has today given interviews to Associated Press, South Korean daily Donga, and South Korean business newspaper Maeil Business Newspaper.
All interviews were generally focused on the environmental challenges faced by the Maldives and the government’s efforts to bring the issue of climate change and its impact on the Maldives to the international attention.
During these interviews, President Nasheed reiterated his commitment to work for the survival of Maldivians. He also repeated his calls for international action to combat climate change.
