The President’s Office and CSTI hold the 13th session of the "Executive Enhancement and Enrichment Programme"
The Public Service Training Unit of the President’s Office and the Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI), held the 13th session of the "Executive Enhancement and Enrichment Programme (EEEP) 2021-2023" on 31st March 2023.
This session titled “Wellness and Productivity: Why it Matters!” was held at the Maldives National University Business School Auditorium. Mr. Ahmed Afaal, Managing Director of ADK Hospital, a distinguished and prominent leader in the healthcare management of the Maldives, National Award holder for health development and the WHO Regional Directors Award led the session.
His lecture highlighted general wellness tips, how health and wellness can be incentivized for productivity gains, magnitude of unhealthy lifestyle implications to the society, and how productivity is lost when people fall sick. Mr.Afaal also shared his personal experiences on transforming self to be healthy and well.
Several civil servants, political appointees from various government offices, officials from independent institutions, and state-owned enterprises participated in this session.
Executive Enhancement and Enrichment Programme (EEEP) 2021-2023 was officially launched on December 27, 2021, by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to improve the skills and capabilities of political and executive-level staff in public offices. Local and international experts in relevant fields facilitates the two-year training programme.
