After concluding his visit to Abu Dhabi, President Mohamed Nasheed has this afternoon arrived at Bahrain.
On arrival at Bahrain, the President was received by Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa. The President was also presented with an honour guard at the airport.
Later, the President and members of his delegation attended a lunch hosted by His Highness Sheikh Ali Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain.
The key purpose of this visit is to seek investments to various developmental projects and to facilitate Bahraini businesses to operate in the Maldives.
