President Dr Mohamed Waheed has today appointed 8 State Ministers. The presentation of letters of appointment was held this afternoon at the President’s Office.
The 8 new State Ministers are:
1. Mr Hussain Maniku Dhon Maniku as the Minister of State for Home Affairs
2. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Retired) Mohamed Fayaz as the Minister of State of Home Affairs
3. Mr Abdulla Mohamed as the Minister of State for Home Affairs
4. Mr Ali Shareef Mohamed as the Minister of State for Health and Family
5. Dr Aishath Rameela as the Minister of State for Health and Family
6. Mr Hassan Saeed Hussain as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
7. Mr Abdulla Ziyad as the Minister of State for Housing and Environment
8. Mr Abdul Matheen Mohamed as the Minister of State for Housing and Environment
