The Minister of Human Resources, Youth and Sports Mr Mohamed Hussain Shareef and the Spokesperson at the President’s Office Mr Abbas Adhil Riza have held a press conference with the diplomatic community and foreign media in Colombo. The press conference was held to brief on the government’s policies and the current political situation of the country. The meeting was held at the Maldives High Commission in Colombo.
Correspondents of international newswires, Sri Lankan media and representatives of diplomatic missions based at Colombo attended the press conference.
The Maldivian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Mr Hussain Shihab also participated in the press conference.
