President Mohamed Nasheed has said the country’s economy was recovering faster than previously estimated.
In an interview given to The Hindu during his ongoing visit in New Delhi, President Nasheed said the tourism sector showed signs of improvement. He also said the fishery sector was improving.
The interview was focused on the economic situation in the Maldives, Indo-Maldives relations, and climate change.
