President Mohamed Nasheed and President Mahinda Rajapaksa of Sri Lanka have this afternoon, inaugurated the final phase of the construction of Maradhoo and Feydhoo main road, in Addu City. The road is being constructed with the aid of Sri Lankan government.
The final phase of the construction of the road was inaugurated by unveiling the plaque of Maradhoo and Feydhoo Main Road, by President Nasheed and President Rajapaksa.
Senior government officials, parliament members, and senior officials of the Sri Lankan government and Sri Lankan SAARC delegation attended the ceremony, which was held at the Maradhoo causeway area.
