Ambassador of Cuba to the Maldives, Nirsia Castro Guevara has paid a courtesy call on President Mohamed Nasheed this afternoon.
At the meeting held at the President’s Office, the Cuban ambassador elaborated on the current economic status of Cuba and the government’s efforts in improving the economy of the country.
The meeting was attended by Chief of Staff at the President’s Office Ahmed Mausoom, Advisor on Political Affairs Mohamed Shihab and Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Hussain Niyaz.
