President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Ahmed Mamdhooh as the Vice President of the Employment Tribunal.
Ahmed Mamdhooh took the oath of office at a special ceremony held this morning at the President's Office. The oath was administered by Supreme Court Justice, Hon Aisha Shujune Muhammad.
Ahmed Mamdhooh holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka. He has previously served as Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economic Development, and as Deputy Managing Director and Acting Managing Director of the Maldives Road Development Corporation (RDC). Most recently, he worked as a consultant on several projects carried out by the Malé City Council.
