Canadian High Commissioner to the Maldives, Bruce Levy has paid a courtesy call on President Mohamed Nasheed this morning.
At the meeting, discussions were held on the President’s visit scheduled for Toronto. The President expressed his optimism that this visit would be a prosperous one.
The Canadian High Commissioner congratulated President Nasheed on the world premier of “The Island President” at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Naseem, Chief of Staff at the President’s Office Ahmed Mausoom and Advisor on Political Affairs Mohamed Shihab.
