Ms Fareeha Shareef, Managing Director of FJS Consulting Pvt Ltd, has been appointed as the acting Chief Executive Officer of Maldives Pension Administration Office. The appointment of Ms Shareef as CEO was made in the first meeting of Pension Office Board.
Ms Athifa Ali was appointed as the Chairperson of the Pension Office Board. Other members of the Board include:
- Ms Mariyam Wisam, Manager of Capital Market Development Authority, in her capacity as a senior security market regulator
- Ms Fathimath Nuzuha, Deputy Director General of Ministry of Finance and Treasury, in her capacity as a senior civil service employee at the Ministry of Finance and Treasury
- Ms Mariyam Shafeeq, Public Health Programme Coordinator at the Ministry of Health and Family, in her capacity as a senior civil service employee at the social security department
- Mr Iyaz Waheed, Assistant Financial Controller of Universal Enterprises Ltd, representing the private sector
- Ms Dheena Moosa, Director of Sea Link Pvt Ltd, representing the private sector
- Mr Hamid Sadiq, Project Manager at the A.A.A. Trading Company Pvt Ltd, representing the private sector
