His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed greetings and good wishes from the Government and the people of the Maldives to His Majesty King Sultan Ibrahim, His Excellency Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on the occasion of Malaysia's Independence Day.
In separate messages to the King and Prime Minister, the President reflected with great appreciation on the longstanding friendship and close cooperation between our two countries, made stronger by the state visit to Malaysia in April. He expressed confidence that this partnership will continue to thrive, paving the way for expanded economic engagement and greater opportunities for the people of both countries.
The President also extended his best wishes for the King and Prime Minister's good health and well-being, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the people of Malaysia.
On his official X account, the President reaffirmed Malaysia as a valued partner and expressed hope for deeper collaboration to strengthen cooperation between governments.
