First Lady, Sajidha Mohamed, attended the closing ceremony of the 63rd National Table Tennis Tournament 2025 this evening at the Malé TT Hall, where she also witnessed the final match of the tournament.
During the ceremony, the First Lady presented awards in the 1st Division Women’s and Men’s Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles categories. She also presented awards for the 1st Division Women’s and Men’s Team Events. In addition, awards and commemorative certificates were conferred for other rankings in the tournament.
The tournament, which commenced on 25 August, featured a total of 95 participants, including 58 men and 37 women.
The closing ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, Abdulla Rafiu, together with several other Cabinet ministers.
