Beginning from 1 September 2009, government gazette will be issued on every Monday and Thursday. According to this policy, the President’s Office has today begun issuing the gazette.
In a directive issued on 9 July, the President’s Office had announced that beginning from 1 September 2009, government notices, announcements and directives would be published only in the government gazette.
The gazette would be made available free to the public. The gazette is also available online. The address of the website is: www.gazette.gov.mv
Voice of Maldives and Television Maldives will also allocate free air time for government announcements.
