President Mohamed Nasheed has today proposed Mr Niyaz Ibrahim as the new Auditor General for approval by the People’s Majlis.
Mr Ibrahim, who is a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), holds a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Accounting and Finance from the University of East London, UK.
He also completed his Master of Science degree in Audit Management and Consultancy at Birmingham City University, UK.
