The Honorary Consul General of the Maldives in Turkey, Mr Nihat Boytuzun has paid a courtesy call on the President. The meeting was held this morning at the President’s Office.
In their meeting President Nasheed and Mr Boytuzun discussed on the ways of strengthening bilateral relations and on possible areas of cooperation between the Maldives and Turkey.
Mr Boytuzun said that it was an honour for him to have met with the President and said that he would continue to assist the Maldives as the honorary consul of the Maldives in Turkey. He also expressed his gratitude to the Government of Maldives.
