First Lady Sajidha Mohamed has graced a ceremony held this morning to mark the 10th anniversary of the National Cardiac Centre at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

The ceremony took place at Dharumavantha Hospital. Upon arrival, the First Lady was welcomed by Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem, Chief Executive Officer of the Malé City Group of Hospitals.

During the event, the First Lady unveiled the centre’s new name and logo, officially renaming it as the National Centre for Cardiovascular Sciences.

The First Lady also viewed a video report commemorating the centre's decade of service.
