Rector of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Professor Emeritus Datuk Dr Osman Bakar, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at the President’s Office this morning.
During the meeting, the President and Professor Emeritus Dr Osman Bakar discussed opportunities to enhance collaboration in various higher education fields, including PhD programmes. The President also expressed gratitude for the continuous support provided by the IIUM to Maldivian students.
Concluding the meeting, both parties expressed their mutual willingness to explore future partnerships and cooperation in advancing education between the Maldives and Malaysia.
