President announces harmonised pay structure for Civil, Judicial, and Local Government employees effective 1 November, including pending increments

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu announced the introduction of a harmonised pay structure for Civil Service, Judicial Service, and Local Government employees, to take effect on 1 November, inclusive of all pending increments.

The announcement, made via his official X account, aligns with the commitment outlined in this year’s Presidential Address to enhance the remuneration of Civil Service, Judicial Service, and Local Government employees.

The President further noted that, as previously pledged, pay increments for other institutions, where adjustments have not yet been implemented, will be effected in 2026.
