His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has extended greetings to His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, on the occasion of Türkiye’s Republic Day.
In his message, President Dr Muizzu conveyed the felicitations and best wishes of the Government and the people of the Maldives to President Erdoğan, the government and the brotherly people of Türkiye.
The President stated that the Maldives joins Türkiye in celebrating the nation's progress and achievements over the decades, reaffirming the Maldives’ deep appreciation for the close and friendly relations between the two countries, built on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared values.
The President also extended his personal best wishes for President Erdoğan’s continued good health and wellbeing, and for the lasting peace and prosperity of the people of Türkiye.
In a post on his official X account, President Dr Muizzu expressed his wishes for the continued progress of the people of Türkiye and expressed confidence in Türkiye’s global partnerships for peace and prosperity, including with the Maldives, noting that they will continue to bring shared benefits.
