Vice President His Excellency Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef attended the Government Experience Exchange Forum, held on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit 2025 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

His Majesty King Mswati III, Head of State of the Kingdom of Eswatini, His Excellency Abdulla Nasser Lootah, the Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Competitiveness and Knowledge Exchange and Her Excellency Željika Cvijanović, the Chairwoman of the Presidency, Bosnia and Herzegovina, alongside Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef at the Forum.

The Experience Exchange Forum is a dynamic platform designed for professionals to share career insights, challenges, and achievements. This Forum brings together experts from diverse industries to explore real-world experiences, innovative strategies, and valuable lessons. The discussions centred around overcoming challenges, fostering creative solutions, enhancing leadership growth, and adapting to industry.

Maldives has taken part in the UAE's Government Experience Exchange Programme (GEEP) for three years as part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two governments. This program is designed to support the development of Maldives' Government employees by focusing on key aspects of learning and innovation. A total of four training programs were conducted under GEEP, with 128 Government employees, including civil servants and senior Government officials, participating in the program.

The Vice President is currently visiting Dubai to attend the World Governments Summit 2025. He is scheduled to deliver a statement at the Climate Change Forum during the Summit. He is accompanied by a high-level delegation of the Government.
