His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed his congratulations, to His Excellency Joseph Auon, on his election as the new President of the Lebanese Republic.
In his message, President Dr Muizzu noted the close bilateral relations that exist between the Maldives and Lebanon, which are founded on Islamic values and shared interests. President Dr Muizzu expressed his commitment to work together to further strengthen the brotherly ties between the two countries. He wished the President success and wisdom in leading Lebanon towards greater peace and prosperity.
President Dr Muizzu concluded his message with personal wishes for President Auon's good health and happiness, as well as for the peace and progress of the brotherly people of Lebanon.
