His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, on Wednesday, extended felicitations to His Excellency Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, the President of the Republic of Cuba, and His Excellency Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, on the occasion of Cuba’s Anniversary of the Revolution.
In his messages, the President conveyed greetings and wishes from the Government and the people of the Maldives to the leadership and people of Cuba. He further expressed his best wishes for the good health and wellbeing of the President and Prime Minister, as well as for the further progress and prosperity of the people of Cuba.
The Anniversary of the Revolution of Cuba is celebrated annually on the 1st of January. The Maldives and Cuba established diplomatic relations on 29th January 1977.
