President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the L. Mundoo Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) members at the L. Gan Council's Secretariat to discuss the island’s most pertinent needs.
During the meeting, Council members expressed concerns regarding the status of the water and sewerage network and emphasised the necessity for an improved harbour. Additionally, they expressed a keen interest in promoting local tourism.
Members of the Council expressed their eagerness to collaborate with the Government concurrently to advance the island's development. They deliberated the difficulties encountered by the Council in acquiring allowance funds.
During the meeting, the President updated the ministers on Mundoo Island's recent developmental initiatives and assured them he would address the issues presented.
