President H.E. Dr Mohamed Muizzu congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait and His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait, on the occasion of its National Day.
In separate messages to the Prime Minister and the Amir, President Dr Muizzu emphasised the friendship of mutual trust and confidence rooted in historical ties. The President commended the visionary leadership of Kuwait for steering the country towards progress and prosperity.
President Dr Muizzu expressed confidence in the prosperity of the existing spirit of mutual cooperation and solidarity between the two nations and conveyed hope for the brotherly relations between the Maldives and Kuwait to flourish for years to come.
The President concluded his message by expressing his wishes for the Prime Minister and Amir's continued good health and well-being and for the continued advancement and success of the people of Kuwait.
