President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with the members of the GA. Nilandhoo Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC). The meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Dhaandhoo Council.

At the meeting, the Council members emphasised the significance of coastal protection, space constraints in the council office, the necessity of agricultural development, the importance of a city hotel, the need to establish a new harbour, and the inadequate funding for the WDC. Aside from these concerns, the Council members relayed that they would like a bridge connecting the island to Dhaandhoo Island. The Council additionally urged the Government to expedite the projects put on hold and set up facilities for youth development, such as handball courts.

During the meeting, some of the Ministers in attendance also provided the most recent information regarding the concerns brought up by the Council. The President stated during the meeting that all relayed concerns would be taken into consideration and addressed.
