H.E. Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) paid a courtesy call on President H.E. Dr Mohamed Muizzu today. The meeting was held in Dubai, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit 2024.
The President and the Director General deliberated on the long-standing bilateral relations between the Maldives and the UAE and the generous contributions from the Abu Dhabi Fund for the development of the Maldives. The President expressed profound gratitude for the continuous assistance provided by the Fund to the Maldives. The Director General expressed his delight in the partnership with the Government and reassured his continuous commitment to supporting the Maldives in its development efforts.
The President and the Director General further discussed areas of cooperation and the progress of ongoing developmental projects supported by the Fund. They also discussed enhancing cooperation in the tourism, agriculture, health, economic, and development sectors
