The President dissolves the "Presidential Commission on Corruption and Asset Recovery"

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Thursday, by Presidential Decree (No. 03/2022), dissolved the "Presidential Commission on Corruption and Asset Recovery." The commission was formed by Presidential Decree (No. 14/2018) on November 17, 2018.

It was tasked with recuperating state assets lost between January 1, 2012, and November 17, 2018, to corruption and misappropriation. Following the dissolution, pending investigations by the commission would be assumed by relevant state institutions.
