The third session of "Ahaa," the public forum of Ministers, will be held tonight. The President's Office organises this event in collaboration with the Public Service Media (PSM).

This forum, designed as a platform for the public to engage in discourse, will focus on key public policy issues. It invites questions from the public to be addressed by the Ministers.

The Ministers participating in tonight's forum are the Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Ali Ihsaan; the Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources, Ahmed Shiyam; the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Mohamed Ameen; the Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, Dr Maryam Mariya; and Ibrahim Waheed, the Minister of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts.

The "Ahaa" Forum Series features the President every three months and his Ministers every two months, where they directly address public concerns.

The first session of the "Ahaa" forum held on January 25, 2024, featured the Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Mohamed Saeed; the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed; the Minister of Social and Family Development, Dr Aishath Shiham; the Minister of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, Abdulla Rafiu; and the Minister of Construction and Infrastructure, Dr Abdulla Muththalib.

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu directly met with the public on Friday, February 23, 2024, during the second forum session, in which the President addressed the community's concerns.

The third forum series was initially scheduled for March. However, the forum was rescheduled to April to respect the observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

The public forum "Ahaa" is usually held at a large outdoor venue to allow as many members of the public to participate as possible; however, due to the forecast of bad weather in Malé City tonight, this session will be held at the Television Maldives Building.
