President Mohamed Nasheed has inaugurated the land leasing project from the small industrial park in Male’ Villingili.
Speaking at the function held last night, the President reiterated the government’s commitment to fulfil its electoral pledges to the people. Further, the President said that the government plans to make all the basic facilities available in Villingili.
Noting that developmental plans should be made in a sustainable manner, the President said that his government was making its policies not for political gains but with a long term vision.
President Nasheed also spoke of the necessity of dialogue to strengthen democracy and said that the government would continue discussing with the people.
