President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has forwarded the names of two Supreme Court nominees for Parliamentary Approval. President Solih’s nominees are Uz Ahmed Muthasim Adnan and Uz Husnu Suood.
President Solih nominated Uz Ahmed Muthasim Adnan as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court as per Article 147 of the Constitution and Uz Husnu Suood as a Supreme Court Justice as per Article 148 of the Constitution. The President sent the nominations to Parliament on 1 December 2019.
