President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has visited the family evening held for senior citizens. The family evening was held at Kudakudhinge Bageechaa as part of the celebrations to mark the International Day for Older Persons.

The President visited individual stalls set up for the elderly at the park and observed the arrangements made to accommodate and welcome senior citizens. The family evening is organized by the Ministry of Gender, Family and Social Services and features a total of 17 stalls from government institutions and NGOs working for the rights of the elderly.

The stalls include interactive family entertainment such as games specially designed to include the elderly and health checkups and information curated for the needs of the elderly.
